Handmade by local women in Kimana in the heart of Big Life’s area of operation, the Simba earring honors the work of Big Life rangers to protect lions. Simba (the Swahili word for lion) earrings are gold with brown beadwork and are made exclusively for Big Life by kimber elements. They come packaged in a vibrant kitenge fabric bag made by another local Kenyan conservation organization, Wildlife Works.

Each pair of earrings are handmade with the utmost care and quality. With different hands crafting each piece, variations are expected and celebrated, and no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. This jewelry is truly one of a kind.

By supporting local Kimana artisans, Big Life continues to honor its ethos that if conservation supports the people, then people will support conservation.
